We are pleased to announce that as of June 1, 2021, Protrade Global Ltd. has completed the sale of 51% of its shares to Weblink International Inc. This increases Weblink’s stake from the 19% share taken in 2019. Protrade Global Ltd. is comprised of 4 wholly owned subsidiaries. These include the subsidiaries Protrade Applied Materials Corp. (Taipei), Protrade Asia Ltd. (BVI), Protrade (Shanghai) Trading Corp. (Shanghai), and Cascadia Resources Inc. (Seattle). Weblink’s purchase applies equally to all Protrade’s subsidiaries.

Since its founding in Redmond, USA (Seattle area) in 1985 Protrade has specialized in the global trade and distribution of raw materials such as synthetic rubber, natural rubber, plastics, and related chemicals. Protrade represents some of the world’s largest petrochemical and polymer composites producers for selling to North America, South America, Greater China region, Southeast Asia, India and more. We serve customers in industries such as auto parts, shoe, tire, home appliances, adhesives and more.

Weblink is a subsidiary of Acer Inc., a multinational corporation established in 1976 specializing in advanced computers and electronics technology. Weblink is Taiwan’s leading distributor of computers, cell phones, electronics, and IT software. Weblink is listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
